Saint Hilary School offers a Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 curriculum encompassing academics, community and spirituality. Each of these guiding principles serves as a pillar of our “whole child” educational approach.

Lifelong Love of Learning - At Saint Hilary School, our aim is to instill in each student a lifelong love of learning. From our school-wide Step Up To Writing program to our Everyday Math curriculum, we endeavor to challenge and inspire our students with the best academic program possible. Our enriched core classes include Language Arts, Social Studies, Religion, Math and Science, and specialty classes in Spanish, Music, Studio Art and Physical Education.

Our commitment to academic excellence has produced a measurable record of achievement; each year, our graduating class consistently ranks within the top 10% nationally in Math and Language Arts, two of the critical areas measured by the national standardized Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS). That our students rank among the top achievers nationwide in all ITBS areas is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our teachers, our students, and our school families.

Full Engagement Community - Our students’ experience is augmented by developing and nurturing a vibrant, fully-engaged community around them and their families, their teachers, and the larger Saint Hilary Parish. Whether it’s helping in classrooms or on the campus, serving on boards, leading fundraisers and social activities, or participating in our school outreach, parents offer their time, treasure, and talents to our school every day.

Spirituality - Our students gain exposure to additional growth opportunities through our daily religious instruction. Though we formally teach about Catholicism, many of our students are not Catholic, thus allowing our community a diversity of faith that allows each student to develop their own, unique relationship with God.

Located on a beautiful site overlooking the San Francisco Bay, in Tiburon, Marin County, the Saint Hilary School campus offers a safe, protective environment for students. No matter the age or the grade level at which they join us, our Grade 8 students take the stage at graduation as young people nearing adulthood who have knowledge of self, of social responsibility, and moreover, a passion for learning.
